10 years of Learn Handball — and just getting started
10 years ago, Learn Handball started with a simple frustration:
Coaching was too hard.
Not because coaches didn’t care — but because they lacked time, tools, and support.
That idea became the foundation of Learn Handball.
In a recent article, the European Handball Federation (EHF) shares part of that story, where Bjarte Myrhol explains the vision behind the platform and the challenge we set out to solve.
Because behind every training session, there is a reality we all recognize:
- A coach coming straight from work.
- A parent doing their best.
- A team that deserves quality.
Learn Handball was built for exactly that.
Over the past decade, we’ve worked to remove friction from coaching — turning hours of planning into minutes, and uncertainty into confidence. Today, Learn Handball is used by coaches, clubs, and federations across multiple countries.
But growth has never been the goal.
Impact has.
- Better coaching creates better experiences.
- Better experiences keep more players in the game.
- And that’s how handball grows.
The EHF article reflects how far we’ve come.
This anniversary marks where we’re going next.
