Learn from the Stars – when handball stars meet the grassroots

Learn from the Stars – when handball stars meet the grassroots

Sebastian “Flamme” Firnhaber, captain of HC Erlangen

“Learn from the Stars” is a new concept developed by Learn Handball in collaboration with Teamplay Handball Camps from Kiel. The goal is to let children and young players meet real handball role models – players from their own region who inspire both through skill and character.

Teamplay handles planning, training, and logistics. Learn Handball ensures the special guest appearance that makes each camp unique. The star joins the sessions, answers questions, and shares experiences from their journey to professional handball. The result? A powerful experience that motivates players, coaches, and parents alike.

Inspiration in Nüdlingen and Mölln
The first camps have already shown their impact.
In Nüdlingen, HC Erlangen captain Sebastian “Flamme” Firnhaber inspired 30 young players through three days of training and fun.
In Mölln, THW Kiel player Lukas Zerbe shared his journey from the football field to the Bundesliga – in front of over 300 enthusiastic spectators.

Both clubs described the events as “motivating, genuine, and unforgettable.”

Why “Learn from the Stars” works

  • Real role models create real motivation
  • Clubs gain engagement and visibility
  • Professional organization by Teamplay Handball Camps
  • An experience that lasts – on and off the court
