We were hoping for a positive reception. This exceeded everything!

A letter from Bjarte Myrhol

When we launched the new goalkeeper content with Mikael Appelgren in Learn Handball last week, we were, of course, hoping for a positive reception. The response has been far beyond what we had imagined.

Thank you so much for all the messages, comments, and kind feedback. It is incredibly inspiring to hear from coaches who have already started using the content. Many have told us that they have gained new ideas and a better understanding of how to work with their goalkeepers.

It just goes to show how great the need has been for more professional content regarding the goalkeeper position.

Ever since we started Learn Handball, our goal has remained the same. We want to make being a coach easier. That is why we build our content together with the best experts we know, so that knowledge becomes accessible to everyone, whether you are coaching six-year-olds or a senior team.

That is also why I have some news I have been looking forward to sharing.

During the autumn, David Späth will be joining Learn Handball.

I think it is quite unique that two of the world's best goalkeepers want to spend their time sharing their knowledge with coaches and young goalkeepers. They could be doing many other things with their time, but both have a genuine desire to give something back to handball.

Together with Mikael Appelgren, David will continue to build on the goalkeeper content in Learn Handball. With drills, training plans, and clear focus areas, we want to give coaches even more tools to develop their goalkeepers.

This is what Learn Handball is all about. Gathering knowledge from some of the best in the world and making it easy to take with you into the arena for your next practice.
